Declaration of Principles We believe in infinite intelligence. We believe in the freedom of each person to worship the god of their understanding however they may choose. We believe in the spiritual healing of the sick through laying on of hands, prayer, meditation, and devine law. We believe that there is a natural world and there is a spiritual world. We believe that the existence and personal identity continues after the change called death. We believe that those in the natural world and those in the spiritual world can communicate, one with the other. We believe the gift of god to all people is eternal life. We acknowledge the divinity of Jesus the Christ; However, we also acknowlege the divinity of other exhalted beings. We believe in the moral responsibility of the individual, and that he makes his own happiness or unhappines as he obeys or disobeys natures physical and spiritual laws. Each person is responsible for his or her own life. We believe that the golden rule might be considerd the basis of spiritual law. As the buddhist say: "One should seek for others the happiness one desires for himself." |
